I hope everyone had a great weekend! I just have to share with you my big find. The other day I was out running errands and I felt totally compelled to stop by the Goodwill. Good thing I trusted my instincts because I found one of my greatest bargains, yet!
I always head straight for the furniture section and I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw these two MATCHING chairs sitting side by side. Not only were they matching (which was unbelievable in itself) but they were marked at a mere $.99 each! I seriously did a double triple take. I was so excited I had to stop myself from doing a little happy dance in the middle of the store.
I took them off the shelf and did a little inspection. Aside form some minor scratches, they were in great shape. Nothing some wood filler and paint can’t fix.
Now, here is the best part of the story. I went to the cashier to ring them up and my total came to only $1.30. It just so happens that the chairs were an extra 30% off that day. So awesome :)
I’ve been looking for two chairs to put against the wall in my living room and I couldn’t have asked for a better find! Now, I just need to slap on some paint and reupholster.
