Baby Ruffle Dress

It has been a wonderful weekend around here! The weather was gorgeous and I got SO much stuff done around the house, including a lot of updates to the family room. FINALLY! It’s such a wonderful feeling when your vision starts to come together. Love it.

Now onto today’s post. I had the opportunity to test a new dress pattern that just came out from Amy at Peek-a-Boo patterns and today I’m sharing my end result! The dress is called the “Ashely” dress and if you love a girl in ruffles than you will love this dress. This is such a cute Baby Ruffle Dress!

I’ve been sewing my whole life, but this was the first time I have ever made baby clothing and whoa those seams are tiny! (Although I did make some baby shoes for Baby E a while back)

Here is my finished product.

I’m all about being frugal around here, so instead of going out and buying new fabric for the dress, I used some from my bins.

Baby E was having one of those “Don’t you dare change my clothes and take pictures of me” days… so getting a non-blurry and cute picture of her in the dress was nearly impossible :)

But right before she went into complete hysterics, I managed to capture this goodie…

If you are interested in making one of these for yourself, you can purchase the pattern at the Peek-a-Boo Etsy Shop.
