It’s Day 10 with Jaime from Crafty Scrappy Happy! Jaime is sharing a really sweet Valentine’s Day craft today, I just love what she came up with. In fact, Jaime is always coming up with something new just take a look at her beautiful DIY mantel! Ok getting back on track, take it away Jaime!
I am Jaime from Crafty Scrappy Happy!
And I am so so so thrilled to be a part of this amazing Valentine’s blog series!!!
I LOVE holiday decor.
I tend to stay simple and understated.
Meaningful is almost always a must.
And vintage and shabby chic is a common decor trend at the moment!
Soooo my Valentines Book Art fits right in to most of those categories!
It was so simple to make and it just adds a nice little touch of love to my normal decor.
I just started out with a pile-o-vintage buttons, a vintage book and a glue gun…
Not a lot of work but kind of a sweet look right?!
I like that it isn’t framed, it isn’t perfect….
I just glued a random assortment of buttons into the shape and that is about it!
The fun part was finding a place to display it!!!
I tried adding it to my Mantle, and its simple Valentines decor….
and I really like it!
but then again it sits nicely on my shelf as well…. oohhh how I LOVE to decorate!!!
Thank you SO much for letting me hang out today!!
I would just adore if you would stop by and say hi!
I love making new blog friends!!
