Hi Everyone! My name is Erin and I’m the girl behind
How to Nest for Less.
I’m so glad that Taryn invited me to be a part of her Valentine’s Day Series!l I’m a HUGE fan of Design, Dining + Diapers and am excited to connect with her followers and make some new friends along the way!
Today I’m excited to share a quick & easy Valentine’s Day project for the family!
All you need is:
- foam hearts from a craft store ($1 each, get one per name)
- Valentine’s Day ribbon
- hot glue gun
- white paint
- foam brush
- stencil for names
- drapery ring clip
For the stencils, I actually printed out the names on my Silhouette Cameo (in the font Channel) and used the sticker’s backing for a stencil. If you don’t have a Silhouette Cameo, you can just used a normal stencil or large stickers!
I added a large Valentine’s Day bow to the top of the foam heart chain using the same ribbon that I used for the base.
For a simple solution to hang the project, I used a curtain clip. I stuck the ring around a wreath hanger and attached the clip to the top of the heart ribbon. Everything is disguised with the large Valentine’s Day bow on the top!
And it’s ready to hang on the door in my kitchen…
Taryn, thank you SO MUCH for having me visit for the day! I truly appreciate you and can’t wait to see what you have in store for 2012!
Much love to everyone,
and hope to see you around!
