You all know that I love my coffee, it’s one of my favorite parts of my day. A quiet house, a nice hot cup of coffee and catching up on my favorite blogs. That is the way I like to start my morning.
But before becoming a stay-at-home mom I used do marketing for a video game accessory company about 15 minutes from my house. I was generally running too late in the morning to make my own coffee (especially during my late stage of pregnancy) so every day I stopped by my favorite espresso stand, Mercurys Coffee. They have THE BEST coffee and they are one of the few chains that carry rice milk, which means I could even splurge and get a latté!
Mercurys Coffee recently sent me a package of their 100% Organic Fair Trade Coffee Beans to try at home. The minute you take the beans out of the bag you are met with a fresh aroma of delicious coffee. The beans are rich in color and flavor.
I ground the beans and made a fresh cup of coffee and to top everything off I was able to use my new Mercurys Coffee Mug. It happens to be my favorite mug shape which means this could easily make its way into my morning routine.
The coffee is full of flavor and a good medium roast. I generally put one pack of sweetener in my coffee and I didn’t even need it with this coffee.
All of their coffee is certified 100% organic fair trade and the have a whole section of their menu devoted to 100% organic drinks. All of their milk is hormone free and they carry 6 organic flavors.

If I’m being really honest I LOVE coffee anytime any flavor any temperature!!! But my favorite setting is sitting down with my Deedo (aka my sister) and spending quality sister time. :-)

My favorite setting is in my dreams! I have a toddler who is always running me in circles, so my coffee time is limited to in the car, on the go…. But if I could sit back in a lounge chair on the back porch of my family’s cabin in the mountains with my daughter fast asleep… Ahhhhhhhh………
I love getting together with 3 of my best friends. We try to get together about once a month. We sit around and chit chat about any & everything. :)

I drink my morning coffee while checking email and browsing blogs. In the summertime when I’m out of school, I’ll sit for an hour or so. During the school year I have to drink my two cups quickly.

I have two! I can’t choose!
My first is with my kiddos in the morning, in front of my computer while they sit munching their breakfast and sipping their milk, it’s the only real quiet time I get until bedtime.
And the other is when my husband and I go out for a date night, the first thing we do is stop by our local favorite coffee shop to buzz ourselves up! Sipping my iced white mocha while holding hands in a quiet car before a nice meal and some “us” time. It’s a good thing! :)

I love to get up early with my husband, and after he has gone to work, and before the kids get up, I love to either sit at the table, or if the weather is cooperating, outside, and have a nice hot cup of coffee while listening to the birds sing. It’s a nice, soothing way for me to start my day before all the chaos begins, haha!
