Before I get to the features for this week I have a few things I want to share. For the past 24 hours my heart has been so heavy and deeply saddened by the events that happened in Connecticut. As a mom, I am heart-broken and angry. No matter how hard we try to comprehend why or how something like this could happen, it’s just not possible. Right now, as I hold my baby extra tight there are parents out there who are going through the unimaginable. There are no words for that. When something like this happens, we are all impacted in some way. But today, I want to extend my thoughts and prayers to all of the families and community members who are directly affected by this terrible tragedy. You are constantly on my mind and in my prayers. We are all here for you.
If you would like to take a few minutes to look at some pretty projects that were linked up to Happy Hour this week, we’ve shared a few links below. But if you would rather spend precious time with your family and friends, I encourage you to do so.
