Supplies Needed:

- Fabric- I used this gray and white polka dot and chevron found at Hobby Lobby (amount dependent on how many you want to make)

- True Red Textile Paint by Jacquard Products

- Red Thread for Accent + sewing machine

- Red Ribbon

- Fabric Rotary Cutter (or scissors)

- Paint Brush

- Stencils (optional)

Start by laying your fabric out on a cutting mat. Here’s a tip, use the fold to your advantage and use it as a finished side. This way you only have to make two seams!

Cut out your fabric pouches. Mine measure 5″ X 7 1/2 ” (unfinished). Turn the fabric inside out and stitch along the seams. Turn them right side out and use a top-stitch to finish off the opening. Don’t you love the little red stitches showing through?

Time to get your painting skills on. To prevent the paint from bleeding through, I folded up a napkin and placed it inside the pouch. Next, I used my Silhouette to create a lip stencil, you can find the graphic I used here.

Using your True Red Textile Paint, paint the lips onto the fabric. My stencils didn’t stick very well to the fabric so I used it more as a guide. Using a fine tip paint brush I outlined the lips and then I removed the stencil and filled the rest in with the paint.

And because I like a variety, I threw a few hearts in there too!

Lastly, I filled my lips with lots of kisses because they were just screaming KISS ME! :)
