Happy Pi Day! How many of you knew it was Pi Day and how many of you are now wondering how quickly you can bake a pie before dinner and come up with a fun pi activity? Well, if it wasn’t for my friends over at Marie Callender’s, I would have completely forgotten about this fun holiday and there is no better way to celebrate PI than with PIE (I will use any excuse for something sweet, especially when math isn’t my strongest skill).
What makes this holiday extra special is that it falls the day after Miss E’s birthday, so we decided to include some delicious PIE in her birthday celebration yesterday. What’s better than turning 2 and getting to lick whip cream off your fingers?!
I took Miss E to the store and let her pick out her birthday pie. She headed straight towards the Marie Callender’s Peanut Butter Cream Pie. I can’t blame the girl, peanut butter and chocolate are the best combo!
She definitely gave this pie a complete stare down. I’m not sure if she was trying to decide which bite to take first, or if she was using all of her self control to not dive in while I was taking the pictures :)
GIVE ME SOME PIE!!!!!!
I’m pretty sure the face says it all. Her response was, “Yummy! More, pease!”
If you are still in need of a pie for Pi Day, you can get $1.50 off your next Marie Callender’s here (Coupon expires, March 31, 2013). And after you enjoy your delicious pie, feel free to leave a review on the Marie Callender’s site here! I know they would love to know what you think!
What other activities will you be doing to celebrate Pi Day today?
