GMC Hidden Treasure Adventure!

I have to say it’s hard for me to even know how to start this post because it’s a little too surreal! When I started my blog 3 years ago I really didn’t know what I was getting myself into. Deep down I kind of hoped it would result in some fun opportunities, but this?

Never did I think I’d be here saying that I’m headed off to Atlanta today to meet up with GMC and a team of bloggers for the GMC Hidden Treasure Adventure!

Not only is this an amazing opportunity to partner with great company, but the cause is even greater. Over the next five days I’ll be driving from Atlanta, Georgia to Cincinnati, Ohio on HWY 127 where I will be treasure hunting with 10 other DIY bloggers at the World’s Largest Yard Sale. Yes, that’s over 650+ miles of yard sales.  Eeek! Seriously, somebody pinch me. And how am I going to get through that many antique stores/yard sales in such a short amount of time?!

Now here is the best part. At the end of the trip, we’ll be using the items we purchased to decorate TWO Habitat for Humanity homes.  The home is part of a new build project with Habitat for Humanity Cincinnati Chapter and a local family will be moving in the day of the reveal. So awesome!

Here is the home I will be working on. I’ll be sharing more details throughout the week and of course giving live status updates on Instagram! So be sure to follow along.
